Job Overview

As a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing our finances, performing and tracking day-to-day accounting tasks and activities to ensure proper recording of income and expenses. You will be actively involved in business planning, project management and negotiations. You will work directly with our management, customers, vendors, tax authorities and others to ensure corporate compliance and implement our strategic plan. You will work to keep the costs down and improve the bottom line of the Company to provide for the Company's excellent performance and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate recording of accounting transactions

  • Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy

  • Manage payables and receivables, ensuring internal controls and timely settlement

  • Support sales teams with the collection of overdue payments

  • Keep track of annual compliance deadlines, including tax returns and reporting

  • Follow changes in taxation laws and regulations, accounting principles, procedures, and theory to adjust Company practices and inform decision-making at the Management level

  • Help reduce the Company’s tax burden by optimizing taxation and taking full advantage of all available legal venues, reducing overhead, costs, etc

  • Work with Management to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures

  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to Management

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal & written communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

  • Proficient with Google Workspace or equivalent software

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or equivalent software

  • Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping software such as 1C, Xero, Quickbooks

 

Education & Experience

  • BA degree in financial accounting or related field

  • Previous work experience in a position of financial responsibility is welcome

  • Good working knowledge of English is mandatory
